Technology Operations Intern (End User Computing Focused)

Are you someone who wants to play a critical role in our company’s success? We’re looking for someone with a passion for solving complex problems. You will join a team that is integral in providing and supporting our End User Computing (EUC) environment. You could be interacting with teams across the organization like infrastructure, data & analytics, database, security, and others. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas in an agile environment.

This position is based in Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid environment - 3 days in office, 2 days remote).

How will you make an impact?

You will get the opportunity to:

• Collaborate in an Agile team to assist in improving and supporting managed devices and virtual desktop infrastructures.
• Work with End Users to understand issues or perspectives of our EUC platforms for improvements.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts for Virtual Desktop image releases and updates.
• Review, understand and report on vulnerability management for EUC environments. Investigate and propose remediations based on NIST standards.
• Help develop and maintain documentation, training materials and knowledge base articles for MGIC Co-Workers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for the Windows Desktop Engineering team within IT Operations.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related degree.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript and PowerShell.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.
• Hours: Summer is full-time and could potentially lead to a year-round internship.
• Collaborative and self-motivated with a desire to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Demonstrated creative thinking, proactive in seeking additional work and strong initiative.

Pay Range:

$37,830.00 - $56,750.00

This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions. It is not typical to initiate pay at the top of the range to account for internal equity and allow for future and continued salary growth
