the Payroll Assistant will help and assist with the timely processing of weekly payrolls for multiple entities. This role with enter, maintain, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
How You Will Contribute
Pay: $24 - $28 per hour
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.

the Payroll Assistant will help and assist with the timely processing of weekly payrolls for multiple entities. This role with enter, maintain, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
How You Will Contribute
- Collect, compile, and enter payroll data.
- Manage and maintain payroll records.
- New Hire coordination with HR
- Audit timekeeping records to ensure compliance.
- Assists with the handling of payroll related projects including year-end preparations, documentation, employee tax issue and annual audits, preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes and deductions.
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, adjustments, and other deductions.
- Assists with issuing, or reissuing of physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors, adjustments, final pay, etc.
- Processes and manages inquiries and requests related to preparation and distribution of payroll.
- Helps ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Assists Payroll, Benefits & Insurance Manager with audits by providing records and documentation to auditors as needed.
- Assists with addressing and resolving employee complaints relating to the payroll, timekeeping, etc. in a timely manner.
- Prepares reports to relevant departments about payroll and expense as requested.
- Works with company database programs to process payroll and verify information.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Accurate and meticulous in data entry.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of admirative experience, payroll processing experience is a plus.
Pay: $24 - $28 per hour
