The Business Development Manager of Growth Operations supports MGAC’s growth strategy by transforming market intelligence, CRM data, and business development activity into actionable insights that guide our technical leaders in pursuing new work.
This role will work closely with sector and geographic leaders, account managers and the marketing team to strengthen pipeline visibility, improve business development discipline, and identify strategic opportunities that align with MGAC’s services.

$100,000 - $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
The advertised salary range is intended as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, and location. This base salary does not reflect the full compensation package, which may include bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and other benefits.

- 5 years of experience in consulting, commercial real estate, architecture, engineering, or professional services.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear insights.
- Highly self-directed and comfortable working in evolving environments.
Business Development Intelligence
- Analyze CRM data to identify trends in pipeline, sectors, and clients.
- Produce recurring pipeline and opportunity reports for leadership.
- Identify stalled or inactive pursuits and flag opportunities requiring follow-up.
- Support leadership with strategic insights into market opportunities.
- Maintain data integrity and governance standards of the firm’s CRM system.
- Establish best practices for opportunity tracking and reporting.
- Ensure key pursuits, client contacts, and meetings are properly documented.
- Improve the firm’s ability to leverage CRM data for strategic decisions.
- Research companies, real estate portfolios, and capital programs.
- Track corporate real estate activity, leadership changes, and market signals.
- Develop briefings on key clients and prospects to support pursuit planning.
- Prepare briefing materials for client meetings and pursuits.
- Provide background information on organizations, decision-makers, and projects.
- Support technical leaders with structured pursuit strategies.
- Facilitate regular pipeline review meetings with technical leaders.
- Document action items and follow-ups related to business development activity.
- Help maintain momentum on priority pursuits across the firm.
