Job Description
MGA Research Corporation is a world leader in the automotive testing industry. As a third party organization, we provide unbiased testing services for our customers which include major vehicle OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and NHTSA. We also provide testing services within the aircraft, train, bus and child seat industries. We currently operate in nine locations worldwide and have plans for further expansion in the next few years.
We are seeking individuals to fill administrative assistant/receptionist positions at our Greer, SC location.
Relocation assistance is not available.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (First Shift)
This is a fast-paced role that involves a variety of administrative duties including:
- Greeting office visitors and guests
- Answering phone calls and addressing basic customer questions
- Tracking projects and maintaining databases
- Directly communicating with customers via phone and e-mail
- Generating and following up on quotes
- Writing reports for a variety of technical tests (with training)
- Receiving/logging front office shipments
- Working directly with corporate headquarters to track bills, send invoices and manage incoming and outgoing purchase orders
- Communicating with supervisors and customers in a clear and timely manner
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure all deadlines are met
- Assisting with a variety of continuous improvement and business growth initiatives

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivation with the ability to solve problems independently
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role
- Experience with Accounts Receivable/Payable or QuickBooks

Salary: $31,200
(discretionary 90-day performance raise and occasional overtime opportunities available.
