General Laborer

MG Home Solutions is a residential and commercial remodeling company known for high- quality craftsmanship and exceptional client service. We are seeking a reliable, hard working to join our field team.

In this role you will actively be assisting with painting, drywall finish work, flooring , and site preparation. The ideal candidate already has the basic hand and power tool experience, Understands remodeling job site safety, and is eager to grow their skills in the trades.

Core Responsibilities

Site Prep & Demolition: Safely tear out flooring, and walls; haul debris to dumpsters while strictly protecting the homeowner’s property and keeping dust contained.

Carpentry Assistance: Assist leads with measuring, cutting, and installing flooring, hanging drywall and painting

Tool & Material Management: Set up and maintain tools, load/unload delivery trucks, stage materials near work areas, keep the job site clean and organized.

General Trade Support: Perform basic tasks related to flooring, painting, and drywall installation as directed by the project manager.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and maintaining a safe workspace.

Job Requirements

Must be minimum of: 18 years old

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or related hands- on trade. (Preferred)

Tool Proficiency: Confident and safe operation of basic hand and power tools

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

Transportation: Must have valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation to travel to different job sites daily.

Soft Skills: Punctual, respectful of clients’ homes, clear communicator, possesses a strong work ethic.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
