Duties
- Perform a wide range of remodeling tasks including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, and fixture installation
- Assess project requirements and develop efficient work plans to complete renovations on time and to high standards
- Use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively to execute repairs and upgrades
- Troubleshoot issues during projects, identify solutions, and adapt work methods as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate progress clearly with team members and clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
- Utilize an Ohmmeter (a device used to measure electrical resistance) for troubleshooting electrical systems when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in remodeling or maintenance person services with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment essential for renovation work
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting techniques, including the use of an Ohmmeter for testing circuits
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges on-site
- Strong physical stamina; capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various positions for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to different job sites
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience working with electrical systems and troubleshooting using an Ohmmeter
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to remodeling projects
