Purchasing Coordinator – QuickBooks Enterprise (Manufacturing)

MG Concepts, a well-established millwork and commercial fixture manufacturer founded in 1986, is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator with strong QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing experience. Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders in QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing
- Work with item lists, part numbers, build assemblies, and components
- Update and maintain SKU data, substitute items, and material part numbers
- Source and compare pricing for materials, hardware, shop supplies, office supplies, etc.
- Track orders, lead times, and delivery statuses; follow up with vendors to prevent delays
- Resolve discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, and vendor issues Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Production to ensure accurate ordering according to project specs
- Maintain purchasing logs and material tracking sheets
- Assist with expediting, freight arrangements, returns/credits, and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
- QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing experience required (items, part numbers, assemblies, PO entry/receiving)
- 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience — manufacturing/millwork/construction experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and vendor management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient; able to manage multiple orders and deadlines
