Summary:The Apartment Leasing Consultant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing the leasing process, and supporting the overall operations of a residential community. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a positive living experience and helping achieve occupancy and revenue goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & SalesGreet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents.Conduct property tours, highlight community amenities, and explain available floor plans.Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, and messages to close leases.Accurately complete lease applications, screening procedures, and move-in paperwork.Meet or exceed leasing and occupancy targets set by management.Customer ServiceRespond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns.Assist with move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and resident events.Maintain a positive community environment by promoting excellent service standards.Administrative DutiesManage daily office tasks including emails, phone calls, and filing.Enter and update resident information in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage).Prepare leasing reports, market surveys, and other required documentation.Support rent collection, notices, and compliance with property policies.Marketing & OutreachParticipate in online and in-person marketing efforts to attract new residents.Maintain model units and common areas to ensure they are clean and tour-ready.Assist with social media content or community marketing initiatives as needed.QualificationsPrevious experience as a leasing consultant for a multifamily community.High school diploma or equivalent (some employers prefer college coursework).Strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.Customer service or sales experience (property management experience is a plus).Basic computer proficiency; experience with property management software preferred.Ability to work weekends or evenings as required.Professional appearance and demeanor.Company DescriptionLooking for steady work with top properties in or around the Tampa Bay area?
