THE ROLE

Joining our team provides opportunities to share your voice and talents, tackle challenging problems, create solutions, and collaborate with dedicated co-workers. This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. In addition to daily responsibilities, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including:

• Social & Networking Events

• Presentation Challenges

At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how compliance works at an asset manager.

MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday - Friday (beginning on Wednesday, January 13th through Friday June 25th, 2027), and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.

JOB SUMMARY

This role on the Compliance Education team provides an exciting opportunity working in the Corporate Compliance Group and with a small group of managers to develop content for our Global program. You will be helping the team create engaging content for our Compliance trainings, intranet, emails, presentations, etc. The position involves acting as an integral part of the team by bringing content together, researching and gathering additional information as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Write, review, and edit copy for intranet internal emails, presentations, training materials for Compliance workshops, Compliance DEI Community Conversations, etc.

• Interact with people from different departments within Compliance as well as marketing to summarize and highlight key policies and initiatives.

• Maintain and organize records in collaboration with Manager(s) to ensure accuracy.

• Perform research as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a communications-related field.

• Successful candidates in this position have strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have solid writing skills and ability to break down complex topics into clear, concise concepts.

• Ability to take initiative, to utilize resources, and to communicate effectively.

• Commitment to learning, creativity, and critical thinking.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Experience and interest in leveraging approved AI tools to elevate work product.

• Strong Microsoft skills, a keen eye for detail, and very process orientated.

• Marketing, Business, and Finance majors are preferred.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
