We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team for temporary full-time coverage for Maternity Leave.Job Summary:The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and specialized x-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain accurate images.Operate and maintain x-ray equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and results.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including radiation safety and infection control standards.Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).State licensure as required.Minimum of 1-2 years or more of experience as an X-Ray Technician, preferably in a primary care or similar setting.Strong technical skills and proficiency with x-ray equipment and digital imaging systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.Manual dexterity to operate x-ray equipment.Compensation: $40-$50/hrSchedule: Temporary full-time coverage for Maternity Leave About MFM HealthOur mission at MFM Health is to Make Lives Meaningfully Better.
