Ultrasound Technician - Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained and accurately interpret them for clinical evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Document and communicate findings to the medical team in a timely manner
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
• Proven experience in performing a range of ultrasound procedures
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and imaging techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as needed
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  
  

Compensation: $55 - $60 per hour

Schedule: Per Diem
