What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graveyard Community Aide Worker position at MFI Recovery Center?
The Community Aide Worker supports clients in a day program or group home by promoting independence, well-being, and life skills development. This role provides supervision, behavioral support, and assistance with daily activities while creating a safe and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living skills, including hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation
- Facilitate recreational, social, and educational activities
- Provide behavior management, emotional support, and crisis intervention
- Monitor client safety, progress, and overall well-being
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities
- Support medication administration per program guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborate with case management and clinical teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use challenges preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Valid California driver’s license and good driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pre-Employment Requirements
- FBI and DOJ fingerprint clearance
- Drug screening and negative TB test
- Must be insurable at standard automobile rates
