Position Summary
Preparing and serving nutritious, allergy-friendly meals. Key Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, baking, serving meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, receiving supplies, inventory tracking, and supporting food service operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to menus and dietary requirements.
- Food preparation, cooking, baking, and portioning.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, work areas, and food storage areas.
- Receive, store, and inventory food and supplies.
- Support training of food service staff and perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler Card.
Knowledge & Skills
- Food preparation, cooking, baking, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Special diets and nutritional requirements.
- Safe operation of kitchen equipment.
- Basic math, recordkeeping, and inventory management.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance.
- Negative TB test and drug screening.
- Must be insurable and maintain a valid California Identification Card.
- Must provide a food handlers card from Riverside County
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and perform duties requiring manual dexterity, visual acuity, and effective communication.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
