We are looking for motivated and positive individuals to join our offices in the role of a Dental Business Team Member! To make a difference to the patient experience in our practice and become a part of our team comprised of dedicated Dental professionals.

Our locations include: Acton, Chelmsford, Littleton, Maynard, Dracut, Leominster

Full-time & Part-time positions available.

This position reports to: Office Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Care

• Greet patients and extend warm welcome
• Schedule patient appointments
• Check patient demographic information/forms ensuring they are accurate and complete
• Make sure there is an accurate signed TX Planner in patient’s chart for their scheduled work

Communication

• Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages, and answer inquiries
• Send referrals and X-rays to specialists
• Request and upload X-rays from other offices
• Communicate with pharmacy regarding patient prescriptions

Scheduling

• Confirming all appointments if patients did not confirm electronically
• Follow up on broken appointments and fill any cancelled appointments (doctor or hygiene)
• Follow-up on all unscheduled treatment

Business Tasks

• Accept over the counter payments, post over the counter payments, and walkout statements
• Perform services in the areas of accounts receivable and insurance
• Perform services in the areas of past due accounts
• Review TX Plans with patients
• Make payment arrangements with patients as needed
• Be active participant in team meetings
• Maintain smooth running of all business systems
