What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date books across multiple entities
• Handle AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and trust accounts
• Track income, expenses, and intercompany transactions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
• Work closely with leadership to explain the story behind the numbers
• Support CPA/tax prep with clean, organized records
• Catch issues early and speak up (silence is expensive)

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of technology
• Experience with multi-entity businesses strongly preferred
• Extremely detail-oriented (you notice when numbers don’t make sense)
• Organized, proactive, and reliable
• Comfortable handling confidential financial information
• Able to meet deadlines without being babysat

Bonus Points If You

• Have worked with trust accounting
• Understand accrual vs. cash accounting (and why it matters)
• Can explain financials to non-accountants without making them cry
• Actually enjoy reconciliations (we see you)
