Job Overview:

MFA Fitness is seeking an experienced Fitness Sales Manager to manage our Locust Grove and Culpeper locations. As a Fitness Sales Manager, the position’s responsibility is to oversee and manage the programs, and the fitness Staff of a boutique fitness center. Your role will involve rebuilding and enhancing the current MFA fitness program; to attract new clients, increase revenue, and reduce client turnover. The ideal candidate possesses the passion and motivational skills to encourage their team and clients to live their best and healthiest lives.

Qualifications:

1. Must have 1-3 years of Supervisor/Manager Experience. You should have previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the fitness industry. Provide a proven ability to motivate and encourage the team.

2. Must have 1-3 years of Sales Experience. A strong background in sales is essential for this role. Qualifications include the ability to: drive sales, conduct meetings, report targets, and develop sales strategies to attract and retain clients.

3. Must have Personal Trainer/Fitness Certification(s). Possess a personal trainer or fitness certification(s). The importance is to understand and communicate effectively with clients and trainers. Must be able to provide: help, guidance, and support to the Fitness team in promoting fitness programs.

4. Minimum of 1-3 Years of Experience in a Fitness Center. Must have 1-3 years of experience in sales, Fitness, and management is typically expected for this role.

5. Must have flexibility. Qualifications include the ability to sub-classes when needed. This flexibility helps ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

6. Must have experience working in Google Docs, Google Drive, email communications, social media applications, word, excel, and PowerPoint. Has the ability to learn and promote various fitness software.

7. Minimum hours 8- 12 weekly. Starting rate of pay $ 20.00 to $25.00

Responsibilities:

· Create and Maintain MFA’s Fitness Departments Program. Review MFA’s current programs, classes, camps, and tournaments, and then, based on your findings, plan, develop, and execute necessary changes.

· Year over year increase and maintain MFA’s Fitness Department sales by 10% or more annually. Conduct market research and develop targeted programs based on your findings. Establish new and report weekly on KPIs.

· Manage Fitness Staff, including schedules, calendars, fitness testing, facilities, programs, and challenges. Performance evaluations, weekly huddles, active rosters, weekly reports, timesheets, hire, train, and coordinate with staff to ensure all licenses/certifications are up-to-date. Develop procedural manuals for all Fitness programs/departments

· Maintain organizational transparency. Define and manage both facilities and departmental budgets. Supplements and membership sales management and reporting. Maintain facility inventory. Collaborate with the facilities maintenance teams to ensure both facilities remain clean, safe, and fully operational. Negotiate all maintenance contracts

· Use networking skills to create strategic alliances and maximize revenue. Actively participate in external events.

Overall, as a Fitness Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, managing the Fitness teams, and rebuilding the fitness center's program to meet the needs and goals of the business.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per year
