OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our manufacturing team on the first shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, CNC programming, and blueprint reading, with a focus on producing high-quality components. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced machining technologies and tools to support our manufacturing operations. Compensation is based on experience and will be highly competitive for the candidate with the required skills and abilities.DutiesSet up, program, and operate CNC 3-axis & 5-axis milling machines, primarily HURCO equipment, ensuring precise adherence to specifications.Utilize conversational programming for generating machine programs. Knowledge of G-Code is also desirable.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to produce accurate parts.Conduct quality inspections using precision tools and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.Adjust machining parameters based on inspection results to optimize quality and efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.QualificationsProven experience with CNC conversational programming and operation of CNC milling machines.Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings.Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling selection, and fixture setup.Experience with precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages & optical comparators.Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions and tolerances.
