Director of Consumer Satisfaction

The Director of Consumer Satisfaction is responsible for leading and executing quality control strategies across Mezzetta's product lines, with a focus on product and process improvement and supplier quality ensuring a superior product experience for the customer. This role oversees the Quality Assurance, Technical Services, and Continuous Improvement teams, working cross-functionally to uphold and enhance food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term quality improvement strategies.
  • Ensure product specifications exceed competitor standards from raw materials to final product.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain consistent quality and food safety practices.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and financial targets for quality operations.
  • Provide technical support to R&D, Operations, Processing and Engineering via Capex projects by directing the evaluation of processes and product improvement initiatives and providing input on equipment, manufacturing and process initiatives.
  • Analyze, monitor and achieve financial objectives by preparing the Quality Assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team for high performance and retention.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations through continuous learning.

Key Qualifications:

  • 10 years experience in CPG Quality and Food Safety environments
  • Minimum 4 year technical degree preferably in Food Science or related industry.
  • Strong background in quality systems, process improvement, and food manufacturing.
  • Experience with HACCP, GFSI, BRC, and FSMS preferred.
  • Skilled in managing complex operations and solving technical problems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and food safety protocols.
  • Better Process Control or Acidified Foods certification a plus.

Pay Range

$200,000—$220,000 USD

Salary : $200,000 - $220,000
