What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Grade Liquid Tank and Dry Bulk Tank Driver position at meyers warehouse?
Seeking Experienced Class A Company or Owner Op Tanker drivers in and around the Chattanooga Area as well as Class A drivers for Dry bulk (Pneumatic tankers). Meyers Warehouse Inc, a family owned business founded out of New Orleans, La, is currently expanding our business which has been operational in Chattanooga for the past 5 years. We currently operate for a single, food grade shipper located in Chattanooga and service a number of dedicated customers. We have a great team of drivers currently in place who would be happy to give the details of their day to day workings.
Owner Operators always welcome
Job Duties and Requirements-
All tankers will be pre-loaded for the driver
Driver will travel to customer and unload product (some receivers will unload the tanker themselves)
Driver will take any required rest breaks and return to Chattanooga with their empty tanker.
Paid training is available for Pneumatic unloading
Must have at least 1.5 years of Class A Tractor/Trailer experience for dry bulk division
Must have at least 1.5 years of Class A Liquid tank experience to qualify for Liquid tanker division
Must have an acceptable MVR
Any "At Fault" and/or "DoT recordable" accidents over the past 3 years may be subject to review
Must be agreeable to spend time away from home (usual time away is every other night, drivers who spend more time out will have the opportunity to make greater pay)
Must be able Lift/Push/Pull 50#'s during an Unload
