We are seeking a talented and innovative Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable design, horticulture, and creating visually compelling outdoor spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential landscapes to large-scale commercial developments. The Landscape Designer will collaborate with clients, architects, and construction teams to develop comprehensive landscape plans that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. Proficiency in advanced design software and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed landscape designs using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
  • Create compelling visual presentations utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Conduct site analysis using GIS tools such as ArcView and ArcGIS, including land surveying and land use planning.
  • Prepare construction documents, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and construction estimating.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and translate their vision into feasible design solutions.
  • Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented on-site.
  • Incorporate sustainable design principles and environmentally responsible practices into all projects.
  • Conduct landscape maintenance planning and provide guidance on landscape installation procedures.
  • Assist in project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Stay current with industry trends in landscaping, civil engineering, and new technology tools to enhance design quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or related field.
  • Proven experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Rhino 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS/ArcView, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, horticulture practices, hardscape construction, irrigation systems, and sustainable design strategies.
  • Familiarity with land surveying methods and civil engineering principles relevant to landscape projects.
  • Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail and precision in technical drawings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $52,165.31 - $62,822.74 per year
