What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving-Lead- Night Shift position at Meyer Utility Structures?
Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Sr. Shipping for our Lancaster, SC plant. In Shipping, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping raw materials/finished goods. You'll operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. You may utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders, and maintain inventory.

What you'll do:
- Operate 15,000 pound or higher forklifts AND cranes
- Operate track mobile
- Unload and load shipments as requested
- Pull product for fulfillment of orders
- Move product within yard
- Review receipt of materials to ensure materials received is correct
- Ensure the security and accountability of materials
- Ensure packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Lead Team by assigning tasks
- Assists in completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
- Trains and ensures safety of team members
What you'll need:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Maintain good attendance
- Basic computer skills
