What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Administrative Assistant position at Meyer Utility Structures, LLC?
Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Plant Administrative Assistant for our plant located in Hager City WI. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across plant departments, including accounting/finance, human resources and quality control. The successful candidate will also coordinate information and activities with internal team members, with third parties, vendors and/or customers.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform general administrative duties and support for plant departments such as accounting, human resources, and quality control, etc.
- Execute and report on research and data analysis projects as needed
- Work independently and in a group setting when appropriate to determine best approach to assignments and processes
- Coordinate information and activities with other team members
- May coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customers
- Assist with AISC certification
- Assist plant/coordinate Shop Tool Calibration events quarterly
- Maintain distribution list of all documents in the Procedure Binders located throughout the shop and ensure current revisions are made
- Other job duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent with up to 3 years of related work experience.
- Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, including excellent skills in Excel
- Detail orientation with a high level of organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
