Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with parts inquiries, vehicle diagnostics, and automotive repair needs
- Manage inventory control using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) systems to track stock levels and order fulfillment
- Negotiate with suppliers and customers to secure the best prices and terms for parts sales
- Maintain accurate stock levels through stocking, ordering, and inventory management practices
- Support retail sales efforts through effective marketing strategies and upselling techniques
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability for vehicle maintenance and repair jobs
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, inventory reports, and organizational tasks
- Demonstrate strong communication skills via phone etiquette when interacting with customers and vendors
- Ensure proper maintenance of the parts department workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in RV diagnostics, RV repair or automotive service preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using CMMS or similar systems
- Excellent negotiation skills to foster positive relationships with suppliers and customers
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Knowledge of dealership operations, retail math, marketing strategies, and sales management is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control procedures, cashiering, and cash handling procedures required
- Effective communication skills coupled with phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing and inventory purposes
- Experience in dealership or retail sales environments preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organizational skills to handle stocking, order fulfillment, and maintenance tasks efficiently
