Meyer's Companies, INC. has been servicing Northwest Indiana and parts of Illinois for HVAC, Plumbing and Electric since 1951 and we are looking for an entry-level office assistant for our Griffith, IN office. Must be punctual, dependable, detail oriented, able to multi-task and have previous customer service experience. Previous experience with answering phones and billing is preferred. Must have a positive attitude and good work history.
Qualifications:
-Provide exceptional customer service by appropriately answering client concerns, forwarding messages and confirming appointments as necessary
-Assist the office manager to improve productivity for all daily accounting, filing, and bookkeeping
-Operate office equipment such as printers, copy machines, fax machines, credit card machines
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional phone & email etiquette
-Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
-Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Excel & Word)
-Work with both paper documents and electronic files, and do routine tasks like data entry, filing, organization, cross-referencing, scanning, copying and retrieval
-Ensure that customers are invoiced appropriately, track and collect various payment methods consistently and correctly
