Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA, for a Family Law Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative tasks, such as organizing case files, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings. The role requires assisting attorneys with legal document preparation, filing court documents, and performing legal research as needed. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining confidentiality in a high-paced legal environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and familiarity with family law documentation and filing procedures.
- Strong Administrative Assistance skills, including scheduling, organizing files, and managing attorney calendars effectively.
- Solid understanding of legal principles and processes, with a background in Family Law and experience as a Legal Assistant preferred.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and professional interaction with clients and team members.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency with office software and legal tools or platforms; knowledge of Southern California legal system regulations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification is preferred but not required if the candidate has substantial relevant experience.
