Job Summary
As our Account Manager – Meyer Pro Sales in Libertyville, IL, you will be part of our world-class manufacturing company, with a 92 year history of making essential machinery needed in vital industries. This role sells Meyer Pro products, with a focus on insulation blowers, air duct cleaning vacuums, and insulation removal vacuums — primarily to contractors (insulation, HVAC, and restoration), as well as building professionals, energy consultants, and rental centers. Every day, you will interact with customers, prepare quotes and proposals, confirm product specifications, process orders, and identify opportunities to grow business within your accounts.
This role is well-suited for candidates with a background in technical, mechanical, or contractor-focused sales. Prior experience selling to contractors, HVAC professionals, restoration specialists, or tradespeople is a strong advantage — as is any hands-on experience working in these industries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to insulation removal, air duct cleaning, and insulation blowing equipment and accessories
- Deliver product knowledge in a way that is clear and tailored to customer needs
- Evaluate customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Manage customer interactions and opportunities within CRM systems
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical specifications
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop customized solutions for clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience

Qualifications:
- 2 years of sales experience in industrial, mechanical, or contractor-focused environments
- 2 years of experience with CRM systems to manage customer data, track activity, and support sales efforts
- Working knowledge of at least one of the following: HVAC systems, air duct cleaning, insulation, or similar contractor applications and the equipment used in them
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort discussing technical product specifications with contractors and tradespeople
- Mathematical competency sufficient to prepare accurate quotes and proposals
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred — or equivalent technical/trade education combined with relevant industry experience

Additional Information:
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This role offers a base salary of $45,000–$55,000, with an estimated annual commission of $12,000–$16,000 and bonus potential of $5,000–$7,500 for meeting goals. Benefits information will be provided during the interview process.
This is an on-site position that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Hybrid or remote work is not available. One must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
