Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to join our Gurnee based manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical assembly knowledge utilizing hand and power tools to assemble products efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and handle mechanical issues as they arise during the assembly process.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and fork lift equipment related to assembly tasks.
- We are more than willing to train the motivated and qualified applicant to understand the assembly of our equipment and related products.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
