Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Land Survey Party Chief located for projects all over Southern California. The Land Survey Party Chief will oversee and direct field survey operations, including conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys. Reviewing field data accuracy, managing equipment such as total stations, and collaborating with project teams to meet project timelines and specifications will be core responsibilities of this role. The position requires attention to detail, leadership, and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Topographic Surveys and ALTA Surveys
- Expertise in Land Surveying and Building Surveying techniques
- Proficient with survey equipment, including Total Stations
- Ability to lead field crews and effectively manage field operations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans and performing field calculations
- An understanding of local, state, and federal surveying regulations
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is a plus
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is beneficial
