Meyer Laboratory is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated individual to join our Meyer family as Shipping & Receiving Coordinator. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with our Procurement, Manufacturing and Sales teams to prepare routes and ensure FTL, LTL ad parcel shipments are delivered on-time and with accuracy for the U.S. and Canada. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships and coordinate transportation with providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Review sales orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
- Track shipments and solve any shipping challenges that arise.
- Track and file claims for damage shipments.
- Prepare and track bills and invoices.
- Manage shipment budgets.
- Receive all inbound material.
- Monitor transportation routes and ensure pricing is correct.
- Understand and ensure shipments are within all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage customer pick-ups.
- Conduct daily communication meetings with distribution centers.
- Develop partnerships and maintain positive relationships with sales team and operations team.
- Minimum of 0-1 years of shipping & receiving or general business experience.
- Effective communication including writing, speaking, collaboration, customer, and teamwork skills.
- Organization and time management skills that enable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Quick and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work in an ERP system.
- High performance leader that is a self-starter with personal accountability and follow-through.
- No travel.
- Desk and computer work required.
- Lifting required up to 75 lbs.
