Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow within the electrical trade while working on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in residential electrical installation, a strong interest in electrical systems, safety practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with experienced electricians.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks as directed by journeyman/journeywoman electricians.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Learn to operate voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous experience in residential electrical installation.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications is beneficial.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and willingness to learn from experienced electricians.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working in various conditions throughout the day.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Must have a clean driving record and a current Arizona Driver's License.
