Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee and perform maintenance, repair, and alterations of our district buildings and grounds. This role requires hands-on work as well as leadership in planning and directing maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct building and grounds maintenance activities
- Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance programs (including emergency response and energy management plans)
- Perform repairs and facility improvements (painting, drywall, basic plumbing/electrical, landscaping, equipment repair, etc.)
- Inspect construction, repair work, and daily maintenance operations
- Lead preventative maintenance programs and site projects
- Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and discipline
- Collaborate with teams to support operational efficiency
- Ensure OSHA standards for operation and recordkeeping are being followed
- Collect quotes from outside contractors and monitor and inspect progress for repairs and upgrades
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience as a warehouse or building maintenance manager
- Prefer 2 years of Maintenance Management experience
- Industrial electrical knowledge preferred
- Experience with OSHA standards and reporting
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
