We're Hiring: Warehouse Trainer

We're looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and proactive Warehouse Trainer to help onboard, train, and upskill our warehouse team. In this key role, you'll be instrumental in creating a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Stable 5-day schedule, ~40 hours/week
- Hourly pay: based on experience
Job Responsibilities and Functions:
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs for new and existing warehouse employees.
- Train staff on equipment such as forklifts, manlifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and more.
- Conduct safety and refresher training to ensure compliance with SOPs and OSHA standards.
- Monitor and assess trainee performance, providing coaching and feedback.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and skill gaps.
- Support onboarding for new hires and follow up regularly during the first 60 days.
- Set the standard for safety, performance, attendance, including all policies and procedures.
- Help identify and solve common operational errors through training updates and solutions.
- Provide training reports, assist with updates, and occasionally support stocking/picking tasks.
- Collaborate with department supervisors on performance reviews.
- Assist with bilingual interpreting during interviews, orientation, and training (if applicable).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Prior experience as a trainer, team lead, or supervisor strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Ability to train across various departments and job functions.
- Must be OSHA safety certified and obtain a forklift certification within 3 months.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
