Job Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of systems and structures to help keep our facility running smoothly. If you’re a hands-on problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a knack for fixing things, we want to hear from you!
Hourly Rate and Schedule:
- $25.50 - $27.50 per hour (based on experience)
- 6:00am-3:00pm EST (start/end times varies based on weather, coverage, and operation needs)
- Must be willing to travel as needed to locations (ex. Sinking Springs, PA) for maintenance as needed.
- Located in Carlisle, PA
Essential Functions and Basic Job Duties:
- Maintain and repair PIT equipment (forklifts, manlifts/cherry pickers)
- Specialize in dock plate/dock door maintenance
- Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and basic repairs
- Conduct daily physical inspections of PIT equipment
- Perform general facility repairs, including painting, drywall, basic plumbing, racking, etc.
- Handle seasonal groundskeeping tasks: mowing, weed trimming, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
- Use company truck to travel between facilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- Valid PA driver's license required
- Previous warehouse or building maintenance experience preferred
- PIT mechanic experience (forklift and manlift/cherry picker) required
Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to recognize letters and numbers
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds as required
