Are you detail-oriented, a strong negotiator, and passionate about supply chain efficiency? Meyer is looking for a proactive Purchasing Agent to join our team and play a key role in sourcing quality materials, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring our operations run smoothly and cost-effectively.

Purchasing Agents will work closely with Purchasing Managers and Lead Buyers to place purchase orders for stocking items. This includes continuous monitoring of on-hand inventory, sales statistics, and general forecasting of future trends.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating purchase orders for stocking inventory
- Tracking the status of placed orders
- Managing basic vendor interactions
- Recognizing when to escalate issues to the Manager
- Collaborating closely with Managers and the Director to place stock orders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience performing entry-level purchasing tasks
- Proficiency with computers and general technology
