POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for fulfilling customer orders, which includes locating, picking, stacking, scanning, wrapping, and staging the individual orders in their respective staging lanes.

- Ensure that the correct quantity and product types are being selected to meet the company's productivity standards.
- Work quickly and efficiently, in addition to maintaining the accuracy of the orders.
- Work within three main product departments which include freezer, produce, and the dry area.
- Safely operate the electric pallet jack.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
- Maintain safe work practices.
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to select/pick orders for the company's clients.
- Required to work in a food handling environment with varying climates, including dry, humid, cold, and hot.
- Ability to operate the electric pallet jack.
- Ability to meet/exceed productivity standards.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Diligent and punctual.
- Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated food handling environment
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order selector or other warehouse position preferred.
- Previous experience operating the electric pallet jack and RF scanner gun preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

- The work environment is that typical of a distribution center.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Able to squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, kneel, and reach.
Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
- Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, noise, odors, and moving equipment.
