POSITION TITLE: School Monitor (2 positions)
ASSIGNMENT: Mexico High School
CERTIFICATION: Civil Service - Labor Class
START DATE: September 2026
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from high school or equivalency diploma
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
PRIMARY WORK ACTIVITIES:
- Supervise recreation, meal periods, bathrooms, hallways, and study halls
- Guide students safely across street
- Assist students with small tasks
- Maintain order in gymnasiums, locker rooms
- Oversee students passing between classes and on premises before and after school, check passes
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full-time, probationary appointment
- 10-month position
- $20,832.00 per year
- Benefits based on CSEA contract
- 7:15AM - 3:00PM (Hours may vary based on supervision needs)
