Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Support team members in ensuring a seamless dining environment for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of the food industry, including quick service & fast food restaurant operations
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for transactions
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for assisting with food preparation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced café or retail setting while maintaining professionalism
