What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOA Manager Assistant (Maintenance) position at Mews of Town North?
We are seeking a dependable HOA Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance and upkeep for our community. This is a hands-on role focused on safety, functionality, and maintaining a clean, well-kept property year-round. Onsite housing and utilities are included as part of the compensation package.Reporting StructureThis position works under the direction of the HOA Community Manager and the Board of Directors.Key Responsibilities
- Snow removal (shovels, plows, snow thrower) and application of salt/sand as needed
- Landscaping and groundskeeping (mowing, trimming, leaf removal)
- Gutter cleaning and ladder work (must be able to safely set up and use ladders)
- Maintain dog waste stations (replace bags, keep areas clean)
- Pressure washing of common areas (walkways, steps, brick, courts, etc.)
- Assist with pool maintenance (cleaning, chemical balancing, safety checks)
- General repairs and other maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in outdoor labor, landscaping, maintenance, or similar work preferred
- Ability to safely operate common maintenance equipment
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and materials (pool-related)
- Strong attention to detail and basic record-keeping
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Valid driver’s license required
Work Conditions
- Mostly outdoor work in all seasons
- Hours may flex based on seasonal needs (snow, landscaping, pool season, etc.)
Compensation and Housing Details
- $25.00 per hour
- Onsite housing and utilities included
