The workers will operate and maintain large-scale agricultural equipment used in the cultivation and harvest of crops across approximately 13,000 acres. Duties include field preparation, such as tilling and disking; operating tractors and implements to perform planting and cultivation tasks; and applying crop inputs using precision equipment. During the harvest period, workers will operate combines, grain carts, and supporting machinery to collect and transport crops, primarily corn, dry edible beans, and seed soybeans. Workers will also be responsible for transporting harvested crops using CDL-exempt trucks within the local area. Daily tasks include monitoring equipment for safe operation, conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs, and ensuring machinery is cleaned and stored properly. Workers must adjust implements and settings based on field conditions and follow safety procedures to prevent damage to equipment and crops. In addition to machinery-related duties, workers may assist with general farm upkeep and maintenance of agricultural buildings and storage facilities. The role requires reliable, experienced individuals capable of operating modern agricultural machinery efficiently with minimal supervision. Due to the fast-paced and seasonal nature of the operation, productivity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions are essential. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
