Seeking Paralegal/Legal Assistant to work for Senior Partner in family law / divorce practice that has a friendly personality with excellent communication skills and can work independently and one on one with clients and other attorneys.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant at Mevorah & Giglio Law Offices located in Lombard, IL. You would be responsible for drafting legal pleadings, preparing trial notebooks, scheduling court dates, filing pleadings, depositions, client appointments, maintaining the attorney’s calendar and monitoring accounts receivable.
This job is with a stable law firm that has been in business for over 46 years and is a friendly and offers a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications

- Communication skills
- Research skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize time and tasks effectively.
- Paralegal certificate or degree in Paralegal studies is a plus
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of family law / divorce is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
