About the Role
MFS is growing and looking for a dependable, experienced Multi-Skilled Service Technician to join our team. This position supports a wide range of facility and property service needs across commercial and residential sites. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in multiple trades, self-motivated, and enjoys solving problems in the field.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems
- Ability to perform basic electrical work (switches, outlets, light fixtures, breakers, etc.)
- General troubleshooting and repair skills
- Able to safely use hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of building systems
- Clean driving record and dependable transportation
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with HVAC systems (diagnostics, service, or installation)
- Carpentry, drywall, or general remodeling experience
- Ability to read basic blueprints or schematics
- EPA or trade certifications (not required, but a plus)
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing and light electrical repairs and installations
- Diagnose issues and recommend solutions
- Complete work orders and routine maintenance tasks
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Assist with small renovation or improvement projects
- Document work completed
