Responsibilities
- Operate dry cleaning machines, spot removal equipment, and laundry systems efficiently and safely.
- Identify stains and fabric issues; apply appropriate cleaning techniques to remove spots and blemishes effectively.
- Handle garments with care, ensuring proper sorting, tagging, and processing according to service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including cleaning tools and equipment after each use.
- DEC Certification
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in dry cleaning processes.
- Keep accurate records of garments processed, including special instructions or treatment notes.
Skills
- Previous experience in dry cleaning environments is required.
- Knowledge of dry cleaning methods, laundry procedures, and stain removal techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot stains quickly and accurately.
