We are looking for a talented Senior Manager/Director of Merchandising to drive the creation and execution of product strategies across multiple channels to meet the needs of our consumer and deliver against strategic and financial company objectives. This role will be responsible for monitoring trends in the market while identifying short-term and long-term opportunities for growth.

This position requires a keen eye for product with proven experience partnering with Design teams to build out new product concepts and assortments that drive the business forward.

Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3-4 days/week in our Los Angeles office.

What You'll Do

  • Own and define the omni-channel merchandising vision and long-term product strategy across key categories, aligning with company growth goals and brand positioning.
  • Lead seasonal and long-range assortment strategies, leveraging deep analysis of sales performance, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to drive decision-making.
  • Serve as the category thought leader, translating macro trends and market intelligence into actionable product and assortment strategies.
  • Establish and drive a multi-year category growth roadmap to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets.
  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle performance, using data-driven insights to optimize assortments, pricing, and inventory productivity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Marketing, E-commerce, Wholesale, CX, and Insights to shape business strategy and ensure cohesive execution across all channels.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative leadership to define compelling go-to-market strategies that align product storytelling with business objectives.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks while capitalizing on in-season opportunities to drive incremental revenue and margin.
  • Own pricing architecture and margin strategy in partnership with Production and Finance.
  • Guide and influence product design and development by leading line planning, concept creation, and assortment direction.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing merchandising team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Present strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to executive leadership, driving alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure operational excellence across timelines, processes, and execution to deliver product launches seamlessly.

What You Have

  • 10 years of merchandising experience, with significant experience in a leadership or director-level role
  • Proven track record of owning and scaling category or business performance in a high-growth, omni-channel environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Ability to think strategically while driving execution, balancing long-term vision with short-term results
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and influence, with experience partnering at the executive level
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business strategies
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with revenue planning, margin management, and pricing strategy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, fashion trends, and competitive landscape
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities across seasons and product lines
  • Passion for product, brand, and delivering best-in-class customer experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

The base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 -$150,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the base salary range provided in this posting does not include any bonus, equity, or benefits you may be eligible for.
