THE COMPANY:
Casleo LLC DBA Global Meals, a well-established and growing company providing home-delivered meals to the elderly in various communities throughout Ohio. As a Packer, your contributions will be essential in accomplishing our mission to meet the nutritional needs of the older adults we serve by delivering globally sourced, healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals.
THE POSITION:
- Responsible for packing meals, accompaniments, and other items as directed according to a consumer’s care plan.
- Fulfill all prescribed “Daily Work Tasks” as instructed by the Warehouse Manager and/or supervisor.
- When needed and directed by the Warehouse Manager and/or supervisor, assist with loading meals into delivery vehicles.
- Help with meal counts and secure food for any necessary changes.
- Assist in receiving, warehousing, and distributing meals as required.
- Ensure product quality by reviewing expiration dates and reporting expired items to the Warehouse Manager.
- Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on necessary actions.
- Monitor food temperatures daily during storage and packing for delivery.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary warehouse, keeping the work area free from trash and cardboard at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Global Meals.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read and write.
- Comfort working in coolers or freezers as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is primarily performed in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures, constant moderate noise, and occasionally tight spaces. Work is conducted in close proximity to others.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm work schedule.
- 13 days of PTO per year.
