Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role based in Thomasville, GA. The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations to deliver high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences. Daily responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, ensuring food preparation meets established standards, maintaining inventory and budget control, creating innovative menus, and enforcing food safety and sanitation protocols. The Executive Chef will collaborate with management, train team members, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent culinary practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in food preparation, recipe development, and menu planning
- Leadership and team management skills to supervise and guide kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation protocols, and compliance regulations
- Resource management skills including inventory, budget control, and vendor relations
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, clients, and vendors
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience; prior experience as an Executive Chef in a similar setting preferred
- Passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and sustainable culinary practices
- Experience in customer-focused and hospitality-centered environments is beneficial
