Your tasks
- Assists in the operation of the Mettler US accounting department
- Process accounts payable and receivable, handle payments and deposits, and perform account reconciliations
- General Ledger: Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and financial regulations. Help develop internal controls
- Auditing: Support/Assist the Accounting Manager with internal and external audits
- Financial Reporting as necessary
- Provides backup for the Accounting Manager and the HR Manager (payroll processing and benefits administration) during absences
- Willing to answer phones when needed, assist visitors and employees on occasion, and perform other clerical duties as requested
