Product Manager - Fleet and IOT

We are looking for a Product Manager - Fleet and IOT to join our Operations Team! 

Role and Responsibilities:

MetTel’s Product Manager for Mobility Fleet and IoT should focus on delivering innovative solutions that connect, manage, and optimize enterprise fleets and IoT assets. The role should drive new revenue through value-added services, improve operational efficiencies for customers, and position MetTel as a leader in connected mobility and smart IoT solutions.

• Own the product roadmap for Fleet Management solutions, including GPS tracking, telematics, route optimization, driver behavior monitoring, and maintenance scheduling.
• Build and manage a portfolio of IoT connectivity solutions leveraging 4G/5G, Private LTE, LPWAN (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and eSIM technologies.
• Partner with IoT device manufacturers to offer pre-integrated solutions for key verticals (smart cities, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare).
• Ensure lifecycle management for IoT devices, including provisioning, monitoring, firmware updates, and secure decommissioning.
• Develop or integrate platforms that centralize IoT and Fleet data, offering real-time dashboards, asset tracking, and actionable insights.
• Integrate with major Fleet Management Platforms (e.g., Verizon Connect, Geotab) or develop proprietary offerings.
• Explore bundled offerings combining IoT connectivity, device management, and analytics services.
• Introduce AI-driven analytics for predictive maintenance, fuel optimization, and driver safety scoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Product Management, or Mobility Solutions within telecommunications or technology sectors
• Deep understanding of IOT technologies
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to model pricing, forecast revenue, and interpret performance metrics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical and operational requirements into customer-focused solutions
• Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives concurrently

*The salary range reflected is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay for this position is up to $165,000 annually. Pay varies by work location and may also depend on job -related knowledge, skills, experience and abilities of the successful candidate.
