FDNY Certified Fire Guard (F-01) - Contract

We are seeking reliable, FDNY-certified Fire Guards to provide fire watch coverage for a 20,000 sq. ft. commercial premises while we await final FDNY system approval. The space is currently operational during the day and vacant at night.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct continuous patrols of the entire premises at least once per hour.
• Maintain the mandatory FDNY Fire Watch Log Book on-site.
• Identify and report any fire hazards or life-safety issues immediately.
• Remain on-site for the duration of the shift until relieved.

Requirements:

• MUST hold a valid FDNY F-01 Certificate of Fitness (Citywide Fire Guard for Impairment).
• Must provide a physical COF card and matching Government ID for verification.
• Punctuality and reliability are non-negotiable.
• Must be able to walk a 20,000 sq. ft. floor plate hourly.
• Be able to work 8AM - 8PM 

*The salary range reflected is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay for this position is up to $20 per hour. Pay varies by work location and may also depend on job -related knowledge, skills, experience and abilities of the successful candidate.
