We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our front office and help keep our practice running smoothly.Position SummaryThe Administrative Assistant plays a key role in daily office operations, serving as a primary point of contact for patients and supporting clinical and administrative staff. This position requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask in a busy medical office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist patients in person and by phone in a professional, courteous mannerSchedule appointments and verify patient informationHandle incoming calls, messages, faxes, and portal communicationsAssist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and referrals as neededScan, file, and maintain medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) systemCollect copays, post payments, and assist with basic billing tasksCoordinate communication between providers, staff, pharmacies, and outside facilitiesMaintain office organization, supplies, and general administrative supportEnsure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all timesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in a medical office or administrative role preferredStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computers, EHR systems, and standard office softwareDependable, professional, and team-orientedPreferred Experience (Not Required)Experience in a urology or specialty medical practiceFamiliarity with insurance plans, referrals, and prior authorizationsExperience using EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks)What We OfferSupportive, small team environmentStable daytime scheduleCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunities to learn and grow within the practicePlease noteWe are only able to consider candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
