The Emergency Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the emergency department and related areas.

Job Summary
The Emergency Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the emergency department and related areas.
Responsibilities
- This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed.
- May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECG's.
- Provides care to patients in accordance with RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques
- Adheres to standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the emergency department and related areas
- Performs related duties as required.
Required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification; BLS.
- Experience: Emergency Medical Technician experience.
- Education: Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician program.
